NICER.
Join Us.

NICER Consortium relies on two types of membership: institutional members and individual members to allow for robust and meaningful participation by all those interested. Members from the fields of hematology/oncology, allergy/immunology, rheumatology, genetics, infectious disease, diagnostic immunology and more are actively being recruited.
Importantly, all members have access to mentoring initiatives and to real-time communication options via the NICER listservs and chat rooms for in-the-moment expertise, feedback and support at your fingertips.
Institutional Membership
Institutional members are required to designate a Principal Investigator (PI) and a Co-Investigator (Co-I), with the expectation that they will participate in at least 70% of the monthly Steering and At-Large Committee meetings. Additionally, we highly encourage other faculty and trainees from each center to engage in these meetings. Institutional members are afforded the opportunity to hold elected leadership positions, serve as lead investigators on NICER-supported research proposals, and gain access to expanded authorship opportunities. New institutional membership requests will be reviewed by the Steering Committee, and an annual administrative fee of $1,000 will be invoiced.
Individual Membership
For those not in a position to join NICER at an institutional level, we welcome your participation as an individual member. Individual members are noted as important contributors to the vibrancy and success of NICER and enjoy the benefits of access to all NICER educational activities (e.g. the monthly patient case conferences, mini symposia), discounted registration for the annual symposium, options to propose research studies in collaboration with an institutional member and authorship opportunities for significant contributions to NICER research. Individual members fee is $200 annually or $500 every 3 years.
