FEATURED SPEAKERS
01

Troy Torgerson, MD, PhD
Director, Experimental Immunology
Allen Institute
Dr. Torgerson’s research is focused on understanding cellular and molecular drivers that mediate autoimmunity and immune dysregulation in humans. To do this, he has focused on defining and therapeutically modulating the immune defects in patients with genetic diseases that are predisposed to immune dysregulation and in patients with complex autoimmune diseases. He is the former president of the Clinical Immunology Society (CIS), a Human Immunology Project Consortium (HIPC) investigator, a member of the Primary Immune Deficiency Treatment Consortium (PIDTC) steering committee, and co-chair of the ClinGen Immunology Clinical Domain Working Group.
THURSDAY 9/18
Eyal Grunebaum, MD, M.Sc
Co-Director Food & Allergy & Anaphylaxis Program, Division of Immunology & Allergy
SickKids
Dr. Grunebaum is a professor of Pediatric Immunology, focusing on the diagnosis, management and understanding of immune abnormalities in children and adults. Using diverse methods, including population studies, cell and animal models, Dr. Grunebaum has contributed to the identification of novel immune defects, development of novel therapies and better appreciation of the immune system in various health and disease states.
